Operation Christmas Child is a ministry under the umbrella of Samaritan's Purse. This outreach gives local churches the privilege of gathering supplies all-year round, for children in need throughout the world. These supplies are then packed into shoe boxes and mailed to children in time for Christmas. These children and their families have little or no resources to celebrate Christmas, and the shoeboxes are a physical, real "touch of God". There is a list of items that are important for each box, but the combinations are endless!
